The call

It was in my school days. Once we were all taken to a children movie. In one scene, the child's dad will be at his desk with some 5 telephones on his desk, and a person comes to meet him. Once that person starts talking, one of the phones start ringing. After that call, the person tries to speak again and another phone rings. And this time, even before this call ends, another phone starts ringing. After waiting for some time, this person gets frustrated and says that he would go out and call in order to talk!! To this scene, we laughed very much. Ten years down the line, this actually started happening. Not with just tens or hundreds of people, but with lakhs of people. Atleast half of the people we get to see at office, on road, on train or even at toilets for that instance, can be seen talking on mobile. I tell you, this time, the situation is even worse. You call up the deputy registrar of your college and you are always welcomed by the busy tone. You go up to his office, knock ...

Sundays

This ones about daily (er....lets say weekly) chores Scenario 1: Saturday evening we came back from office. And our roomies tell us that we are out of running water. They dint have bath since morning. Did I tell you that its mid summer?? I wake up in the next morning. Go to the washbasin to brush my teeth....and get to know that we are still out of running water!! I've waited till afternoon and finally went out.... to a lonely dump and then ...well....u knw... :P The same fate wished us the next day morning also. We went to Naren's flat, had bath and then left for office. Scenario 2: Saturday night we reached our flat. Switch on TV, and Maharadhi movie was being screened on the Telugu channel. The next day morning, its raining heavily and we were all sleeping peacefully. I woke up and started cleaning utensils.
