Waqt ke pannon

Waqt ke pannon ko dekhke... ye lag saktha hai, ki waqt guzar jatha hai! Aur uske saath kuch cheeze, kuch yaadein, guzar jathi hai! Lekin abhi zaroor ye tho lagega... ki kuch khaas logon ki pahunch kabhi door nahi hothi! Waqt se bhi anmol ... kuch bewakoof hai! :) Aur tujhe ijaazat diya... koi bhi pal hame yaad karne ko! :D zindagi ki kitaab mein in doston se sajaye huye rangeen pal ke kaagaz ko bar bar dekhne ko!! PS: Parting gift to 'The Raj' :)

Fellow fools

When we achieve something, someone asks how we feel. When we lose something, someone asks how it feels like. When we are young, we smile at everyone. When we get hurt, we cry like we lost everything. But as time passes by, as we grow up, we no longer smile that much. When we get hurt, we no longer cry that openly. As we get past the hurdles, the source of happiness seems to move away. There seem to be too many terms and conditions to reach it. Too many sources of disappointment cross paths everywhere. The world seems to have a lot more evil than a couple of decades back. It seems too difficult to skip the pits of heart-breaks. It seems as if the smiles are being erased. It seems as if everyone is just too selfish. It seems as if frowning is a default option, welcoming at every corner. The faces refuse to even frown as they got too tired of it. But they refuse to smile either. The possessions look petty. The sorrows seem silly. The reasons to smile vanish. Th...

W for ....

It was a long and tiring day. He winded up his training and headed to his favourite spot.... the tree shade amid-st the rocky terrain atop the hill. It was particularly calm and breezy as opposed to the howling winds growling in the ear. He felt the soothe on his face and closed his eyes to enjoy the short stay there. Leaning against the tree in his usual posture, he got lost in his world. His mind was still lingering to the thought. Being an avid reader and day dreamer, he always wanted to develop the fuzzy thought and plume it into much clearer words and someday he wish to see himself transform into a good writer. He believes in his principles firmly. Peace and patience come before pride to him. Something flashed in his mind and he quickly started penning down: Once, people worked for earning food and shelter. Then, people worked for the nation... developing and expanding it. Now, people work... but strife dominates the lifestyle. Waging wars? Winning them? ...

Dream space - episode 1

He wakes up in the middle on nowhere, but finds out that he is in a closed room with his best buddies around... all smiling at him... as if welcoming him aboard and congratulating him for his achievement. He was given a few tips, precautions and many warnings. Finally he was told to go through the door and explore The people who go infront of him doesn't notice him, and so, leave the door to close. By the time he approaches the door, the door is almost closing. He gets a feeling that the door wont open once it closes. He tries to call out the people who just left the room. Strangely his voice doesnt find a way out of his vocal cords. Its as if someone is smothering him from yelling out. He tries again and again, and finally a faint part of his voice reaches out to them. They hold the door for him in the last second. They seem to be smiling at him, and welcoming him to the new world. He comes out and sees good day light. He visited many of his friends, seen unexpected people, bee...

Hit the road! - part 2

The return journey to Hyderabad on 17th Jan 2012 was another nightmare!  Read on to see how it all happened. This year Sankranthi celebrations were good. Had a great time with family. And on sunday we tried to get the tyre repaired but the shopwala said tht the puncture is too big to be patched. So planned to get a new tyre on tuesday before starting to Hyderabad as all the shops would be closed on monday for festival. But on tuesday the shopwala insisted on getting the new tyre in Hyderabad as I could get the good ones there and that the tubeless ones wont get flat so easily. So I started off after getting the wheel alignment done I thought of starting early in the morning but ended up starting late in the afternnon. Soon after sunset, ill luck greeted us at around 6:45 PM as a huge pothole when the incoming light blinded us. Again the same tyre puncture scene. This time, the air pressure reduced in no time. And this time, no spare wheel, no jack, no spanner... and...

Hit the road! - part 1

Yes, that was the thought lingering in my mind for quite some time now, but I wasn't sure yet if I would be doing it as I dint find company for the Sankranthi trip. Its 13th Jan (friday) and I finally found 3 more people and decided to hit the road at 3 PM. Finally we started at around 4 PM I planned to go on a not-so-good route in order to avoid the festival-season traffic. The road was good but full of cars till some 100 km and then I deviated to Ongole route. After deviating from Vijayawada route, the traffic indeed decreased, but the speed breakers and potholes made the journey a nightmare! I couldn't speed more than 40 kmph for most of the time due to poor lighting and for avoiding the gigantic potholes... its not a surprise to say that the max I could reach is 90 The road work made things even worse!! Reckless cars came head on trying to overtake the trucks and buses, and we had to brake all along. I was estimating the time all along and thought I could make it ...

Revelations at a hospital

Not all things look good in life. When some look unpleasant, some makes one feel disturbed. Some even deteriorates one's self-confidence significantly. For instance, the ambiance at a hospital would definitely not be a pleasant one... The sight of physically wounded people, ranging from months babies to corporate professionals to retired gramps and grannies definitely wont be what one wishes to see. Some would try to avoid hospitals just because they cant withstand the unpleasant reality. Some would try all possible methods to avoid a needle prick while some would be willing to sell out all their wealth just to recover. The patients and the care takers would be all over the place, the guards and nurses guiding and soothing the patients, the doctors busy all day with rounds and surgeries. Some coming out with surreal treatments while some having a hard time digesting the tragic incidents. But amidst all the chaos, theres something which is not observed often. Its the hope, c...

Let it flow

Two sleepless nights... Triggered a fight disturbing the third!! But then, Weekends... are not for sleeping! but for enjoying!! And weekdays... are for working... for a living... not for dying! To have a good night sleep.. but not a nightout! To have a filling meal... not a moaning belly! Is it balancing? Or more confusing? Why am I writing? Not in Telugu, but in English... Is it out of anguish? Is it lack of concentration? Or the need of relaxation? Anyhow... I'm glad... it requires no preperation.. but just the jiffy of desperation! How I wish I had a pen... in my hand... and a paper... beside my bed.. To let the rhythm...keep flowing.. like the ink... the bloody ink... oh yes... the blood would not sink!! but it would just stink! It would not stop... from the mere clots.. Oh yeah... lemme rephrase that... The clots could no longer stop it.. It keeps flowing... To drain the pain? Or to count the gain? Aah yes... that really was my inte...

Trip with Ten

Image
A long awaited trip sure was worth every second! A gang of ten batch-mates meeting after a few years, a place filled with just too many scenic beauties, and three cameras to capture the memories.... in short....   a delightful and one of the most memorable trips for a travel enthusiast like me. It all started when a friend proposed the idea of a trip to Chikmagalur . Initially 16 guys were thought to be attending but finally the number stopped at 10. Rajeev booked train tickets for Sagar, me and himself for onward journey from Hyderabad to Bengaluru and bus tickets for return journey. An unexpected rain forced Rajeev and me to board the MMTS train from Begampet to Kacheguda and Sagar joined us there. The train journey was smooth and we arrived some 1:30 hrs late at Bengaluru. Poor Ganga waited for us in the station for more than 2 hrs. We boarded the Tempo van (Thanks to Ganga for all the preparations) and reached Jaggu's place. There 11 of us met and had a few photo se...

Groovy night

My fingers dance in the joy to the beat in my heart they tap fast on the board when my eyes are so closed and my feet tap on the floor [singing] my mind feels the zeal from head to heel the rhythm is refined with the passion redefined [come on] build up the heat make it so neat enjoying is an art yup, rewind that part and sing it like that [My fingers] roar like a beast (and) thump on the ground (yeah) move like a breeze (and) sing out aloud (yeah) just play with no plan the best way you can just wind out your pace and let there be grace [one more time] let the mirror go here and there when my head moves around as I turn around again feeling the tune... so profound!! [my mind]

Real beauty

I remember this dialogue from a Telugu movie whenever someone mentions beauty - ' Andham ante chudaali chudaali anipinchaali gaani chusesaam chusesaam anipinchakudadhu! '. Unfortunately this quote loses its beauty when translated to English. But I would try to carry the feel of it in the rest of this post :) A guy like me, who stays away from home, who has voracious appetite for food, who can cook well (well, my friends tell me so), still thinks of going home and eating the cuisines prepared by mom. The way mom cooks drags me back home again and again. A guy like me thinks of going on a drive on his bike at any time... no matter how many times he has gone on a drive. What makes you play with cute kids and make them smile? What makes you think of recalling memories? What makes you listen to a song in loop? What makes you come back to your Comics? What makes you visit places like Goa again and again? Its not just the love for food. Its not just the passion. Its not ...

Drive me crazy!

I wanna become.... a song.. a singable song! That would play for long.. long enough to entice... the singer in you to notice the shrill of silence and make a difference (yeah) in the way you make noise :D the beauty of resilience redefined in the rev when you see the drivers mood dancing under the hood the sheer brilliance when it comes to hope to say blunty nope when someone says 'give up' yeah.... i'm the one under the hood and above the wheels i'm the joy you feel i'm the one to kneel in front of your zeal i'm the one... to drive you crazy i'm the one... who makes you lazy i'm the song of your life! who says 'live to drive' who makes you smile for every damn mile!! :) lets ride down... the lane of imagination and race beyond satisfaction to define the style of perfection to meet the glory at destination :D

GPRS

Present scene: It was a sunny evening.. Even at 5 PM sun was still shining high in the sky. Pavan and Satish were relaxing in the balcony. They were looking at each other and laughing. They couldn't help but laugh at the incidents that took place in the last few minutes and well, the last few days too! They dint know that few more shocks were in store for them. How it all started : It all started when a group of friends (Pavan, Satya, Satish and Raghu) planned to give a gift to the newly married couple (Gautham and Pujitha) after a month. Well sometimes things get a little late ;) As planned, on 8th Apr 2011, Satya and Pavan bought the gift and brought it to Pavan's place with some difficulty on Satya's bike. They thought that it would be better to take it in the car as it would be more convenient. They called up Satish to come over the next day so that he could drive them (and the gift ofcourse) to the couple. The next day they all left in the car as...

Silly soliloquies

Silly soliloquies in front of the mirror enjoying the cool breeze on my face Humming to the heart's quiver while riding my bike at a constant pace ---- Laughing at my own sense of humour remembering the good old days and the beauty in every single moment Though nothing was planned ahead it always sounds like a tale told before ---- Every time someone thinks of future I recall what I think of mine... hopefully a nice one is on its way :) ---- Silly soliloquies in front of the mirror enjoying the cool breeze on my face Humming to the heart's quiver while riding my bike at a constant pace ---- Satisfaction is never found without narcism and narcism is never found without true love or maybe its the other way around But it feels good to have both :) ---- Riding through the slender present quenching my thirst for simplicity gearing up for the reality I keep moving on.... ---- Silly soliloquies in front of the mirror enjoying the cool breeze on my face ...

A small dedication

Its one of those moments.. When theres something... that conceived somewhere... sometime... comes to life... and remains special.. for a lifetime! as more than a feeling that adds a touch... thats sweet when felt! and stands for eternity as a great song... which feels new and strange.. everytime its played but resounds like an old tune as long as its remembered Well... This somethings called vengeance :P Just kidding! :D Enjoy the life ahead :) PS: Dedicated to Gautham and Pujitha :) Wish you a happy married life!!

Unsune khwaab

jab bhi mein tujhe milta hun kuch kisse ho jaate hain kuch mere.. kuch tere aur kuch mere dil mein mujhe ehsaas nahi hua tha ki.. teri aankhon me dekhthe dekthe teri aankhon me dekhthe dekhthe teri baatein bin sune nikalaati hai mere do kaan dokha dete hai jab bhi mein tujhe milta hun kuch kisse ho jaate hain kuch mere.. kuch tere aur kuch mere dil mein mujhe patha nahi tha... ki.. khat likhne aur padhne mein itna mazaa aata hai kuch baatein har lamha mein baar baar sunai deti hai neinon me basi hui teri tasweer agar saamne aaye itni kareeb tho sapnon ka mazaak karte hein behosh hue ye dil jab bhi mein tujhe miltha hun kuch kisse ho jaate hain kuch mere.. kuch tere aur kuch mere dil mein mujhe yaad nahi hai... kab tere naam ye dil ki deewar pe likha tha.. lekin itna to pata hai... kitna bhi khoon barsake use mita nahi saktha

Time is running out

Not every word is uttered Not every thought is considered Not every moment is remembered And the time is running out and it always runs out Sometimes, it slows down When you are waiting for something to happen and you keep watching Not every word is uttered Not every thought is considered Not every moment is remembered There would be some things which you do with full enthusiasm you would be involved so much that it seems like time fooled you The time is running out and it always runs out So... Ruminate the best times and Say out the best words Emanate the past glory and Pen down the best thoughts Relish the best moments and Bring out the best story Revisit good old days and Tune them up from the memory Make it stand as a new history Its time... To raise the voice and make some noise!!
