Songs

I heard many songs Some, I hear according to my mood Some I like right away Some I like after repeatedly encountering them some are inspiring and some are energetic Some are fast and some are slow Some are meaningful and some are thoughtful But a few of them, I remember forever They change my mood no matter how it was They make it into my heart in no time No matter when I hear them, I feel elated They are the best ones :) PS: Now, replace hear with meet, songs with friends and see the magic!! :D

"Dead"ly Dream :P

Image
One day, he was dreaming....(lol....its called a day dream :P). He was dreaming about his aim. His forgetfulness caught right in the middle and he started thinking (err....whats my aim??). As if someone said out loud, he heard from his heart (abey oooo.....ur aim is to reach high....higher....to fly high!!). "Thats right!!" he thought. He has many unkept promises, many unfulfilled dreams (:o what the hell? unfulfilled dreams in a dream? Is this really a dream??). I warned him to let go of his thoughts. But despite my warning, he set out to fly high and this is what that happened: PS: I wrote the first para long back. Today I came across that saved file :)

Speechless!!

Inner voice (IV): Its been quite a while since you blogged...why don't u ponder on a topic for a new post? Me: hmmm.....me me me me me :)) IV: Why do u always think of yourself when asked to blog?? Think of something else man! Me: huh? ok. then what about writing about 'us'? IV: Now what do you mean by 'us'? Don't tell me that you are again going to write about you and your inner voice Me: haha ....no no. I meant we...the bachelors!! IV: Big deal...whats there to mull over bachelors? Me: See...you are also considering them to be a wretched subject. IV: I tell you what...you are 0 % creative. Me: Now why do you say that? IV: You are again gonna narrate your woes. Me: Come on...one hardly needs to be creative to portray facts. IV: Haha...you make me laugh. Whos gonna give a damn to these good for nothing facts? Me: Thats what you think. Even many others look down on bachelors as if they are insects. And thats why I wanna share some stories. IV: mmmm...

22 years

22 years its been!! I vividly remember my childhood...transforming from school days to college days and then to the job phase now. The hard moments are hard to recall :P The best ones I will remember for the rest of my life! But the strange ones are as follows: -> Just for our batch, the corporate colleges (for +1 and +2) decided to 'fix' the admission fees and remove the flexibilities even for the top students. -> We get to write EAMCET. The pattern changes from our batch -> During our B-Tech, the sons of our college founder parted. -> When I took along some of my college friends to my dad's college, one of the founders passed away. -> After our B-Tech, we r left wid the tag of 'DA-IICTians' and that tag will soon loose its value. -> From the next year CAT patterns gonna change (heard from friends) Well no conclusions this time ;) Just celebrating 22 years of being alive :D

A Tribute!! :)

Very cute she is And quite intelligent too....rare combination :)) She is one of my best friends. U are the precious person to whom I owe this tribute :) She is the only one who knows everything about me :) When I lie, she would know it just by looking at my face. Wherever she went, I used to go along...just to feel her presence. She inspired me in almost every aspect. She used to laugh at me when I played funny tunes on my violin. We used to look at each other and laugh at a joke while watching TV. We used to play cricket and she always beat me :( While others praised my poems, she is the only one who would laugh uncontrollably at them. Just once she wore shirt and jeans on my asking...and ofcourse she looked good in jeans as well. The only things she would ask me (apart from asking to take care of my health in her letters to me) are books and details about them. I always wondered how anyone could have such zeal towards education. And not to forget, she cooks amazingly!! I felt awkwar...

School

Yesterday, I was conversing with my friend and she said that she had been to her school. And the day before that, I was narrating my new Telugu poem to my mom. She burst out laughing even before I narrated the first few lines as she expected "My sweet Memory" to be one from my childhood days...probably school. And now at this early an hour I am up and blogging....why? I woke up early in the morning with a dream about my school. So amazing it was...I went to school (in an attire as if I just woke up :P) and met a few friends there in the class room. Ironically enough, some of them already look old... even though I never met them after school. Even some teachers were there at that time (its almost 4 PM). I Woke up with the glare so close from the distant past which made my eyes damp. Now I desperately want to go to school, meet all those wonderful teachers, sit in my bench and attend all my classes and of course play to the fullest in the ground. Alas! When nostalgia strikes, ...

The 'real' pain

Long time its been the rhythm in life is no longer seen we go to office in sun and rain we work till our blood drain a drain of young talent by emigration depriving us of all the imagination everyones keen to change the daily routine eager to win the race in every round never bother about those who are around everyones so cold this my friend, is the corporate world.

The call

It was in my school days. Once we were all taken to a children movie. In one scene, the child's dad will be at his desk with some 5 telephones on his desk, and a person comes to meet him. Once that person starts talking, one of the phones start ringing. After that call, the person tries to speak again and another phone rings. And this time, even before this call ends, another phone starts ringing. After waiting for some time, this person gets frustrated and says that he would go out and call in order to talk!! To this scene, we laughed very much. Ten years down the line, this actually started happening. Not with just tens or hundreds of people, but with lakhs of people. Atleast half of the people we get to see at office, on road, on train or even at toilets for that instance, can be seen talking on mobile. I tell you, this time, the situation is even worse. You call up the deputy registrar of your college and you are always welcomed by the busy tone. You go up to his office, knock ...

Sundays

This ones about daily (er....lets say weekly) chores Scenario 1: Saturday evening we came back from office. And our roomies tell us that we are out of running water. They dint have bath since morning. Did I tell you that its mid summer?? I wake up in the next morning. Go to the washbasin to brush my teeth....and get to know that we are still out of running water!! I've waited till afternoon and finally went out.... to a lonely dump and then ...well....u knw... :P The same fate wished us the next day morning also. We went to Naren's flat, had bath and then left for office. Scenario 2: Saturday night we reached our flat. Switch on TV, and Maharadhi movie was being screened on the Telugu channel. The next day morning, its raining heavily and we were all sleeping peacefully. I woke up and started cleaning utensils. And this time, running water is out as soon as I am done with applying dish bar :( I started cooking sambar (yeah..you read it right. I started cooking!!) and when it wa...

True Love

Tears fail to come when I try my heart refuses to cry It says I should'nt brood no matter whats my mood I should'nt wail even if I fail I should withstand the infliction whatever may be the situation It says you are a warrior You should cross any barrier Every heart beat does'nt just say I'm alive It reminds me of the person for whom I live It is you to whom I never wanna say adieu I realised true love never fails when I look back at my memory trails

The lady in black

Date: 9/5/2008 -> Saturday Time: Around 10:00 PM Venue: Hotel Varishtta 4 guys (lets label them A, N, P, S) walked into the restaurant. They were told that there is no free table and were guided to the restobar. So, they went into the restobar. As they walked in, they noticed a young lady in black saree sitting at the table opposite to the entrance. They placed their order. 2 of them ordered beer. As they were watching the IPL match on the TV, the lady, who is in the midway, looked at them every now and then. They were at first amazed...... Then elated........... Then worried. Now she started looking more frequently. These guys now started conversations.... N: May be she is looking at us coz we r so young. P: Arey she is looking at A and N, as she can see their faces. N: Look at A...he got "I'm not totally useless" caption on his tee. So she is looking at me. S: Or maybe she is looking at A as he is in his shorts :P P: lol....maybe she is not interested in the 2 guys s...

Launching "disasters"

Few months back, "Power" was launched. And now comes "Tech Services". Generally, every launch will be expected to be good or do good or atleast "look" good, especially to employees of/related to same company. But we, the so called "proud employees" of our company should'nt be doing that. In fact, its normal to find these people banging their heads against walls, tables or..u name it...any thing thats good enough to hit your head against. Wondering why? well, heres the answer!! sorry..answers to be precise. When Power was launched, like any other company, strategy played a crucial role in the launch. But if you think it made people (read proud employees of our company) happy, you are terribly mistaken. Heres the strategy. The caller tune of Reliance mobile customers who dont have a caller tune was changed to the "Go India POWER......Ta RuM Pum POWER. Sab ko hein POWER" (actually I dont remember the words). Its like a group of men sh...

Yo Yo

Yesterday evening Abhi and I went to gym to get back a forgotten towel of a friend. When coming back, I remembered that I should withdraw some money from ATM. So, we went back, collected the cash, and came back to our block. After we reached the tripod, I searched for my ID card to swipe and then realised that I kept it on the ATM machine and forgot. This time, to our surprise, we saw that the card is still there, but the YoYo is gone!!! :o :o :o Obviously the person who came after me stole it! :x We were like.....how come a person could be this greedy/lazy about a yoyo...its just a matter of 5 mins walk to collect it. Donno how many more twists are awaiting me here
